Liverpool track Barcelona teenager Sergi Canlos?

Liverpool reportedly want Barcelona's 16-year-old midfielder Sergi Canlos.

Liverpool are reportedly chasing Barcelona teenager Sergi Canlos.

Barca are trying to tie the 16-year-old to a long-term deal at Camp Nou, but Reds boss Brendan Rodgers sees the youngster as an ideal addition to his squad, according to The Mirror.

Rodgers has not been shy of giving game time to young players this season, with teenage trio Raheem Sterling, Suso and Andre Wisdom all forcing their way into the first team during the campaign.

Canlos is a right-side midfielder whom Rodgers believes would be interested in a move to Anfield this summer.
