Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho has admitted that he wants to stay with the Italian outfit, amid speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool.
The Reds are reported to have lodged a formal bid for the Brazilian last week, but that was rejected by the Serie A outfit who have told the Merseysiders to increase their offer for the player.
However, the 20-year-old has outlined his desire to remain at the San Siro for the rest of the season.
"I don't feel that I'm on my way out," said Coutinho.
"I hope to stay at Inter. I feel the coach and the club trust me. Now I'm focused only on doing my best in my job and getting back on the field soon."
Coutinho has one cap for Brazil.
