Liverpool reportedly have no plans to launch a bid for Derby County youngster Will Hughes in the January transfer window.
Recent reports have claimed that the Reds' decision to send Andre Wisdom to Pride Park on loan was due to their desire to clinch the signing of the 18-year-old midfielder.
However, it is understood that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is not prepared to make an offer in the New Year, despite sending scouts to watch Hughes, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Derby chief executive Sam Rush stated this week that Hughes will not leave for Anfield during the winter window.
