Liverpool have reportedly entered the race for Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Despite the fact that he will not turn 17 until June, Bellingham has been a key player for the Blues during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing four goals and three assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester United were strongly linked with a move for the teenager in January and are expected to reignite their interest when this summer's transfer window opens for business.
However, according to the Daily Star, Liverpool have now joined the race for the midfielder having been impressed with his development during the current season.
The Birmingham academy product, who is thought to still be on a youth wage of £145 a week, will see his current deal at St Andrew's expire in the summer of 2021.
Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have also previously been linked with potential moves for the England Under-17 international ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
