Liverpool are reportedly closing in on securing the signature of Swansea City midfielder Joe Allen.
The Reds are believed to be interested in the 22-year-old, who played under Liverpool's new manager Brendan Rodgers at the Liberty Stadium last season.
It has emerged that the Welsh outfit would only be willing to release the playmaker for a fee in the region of £15m, which the Merseyside club are prepared to pay, according to Sky Sports News.
Rodgers came to an agreement with his former club that he would not poach any of the club's players unless another club shows interest in the player in question.
