Glen Johnson has begun negotiations to return to West Ham United, according to reports.
The Liverpool defender is out of contract this summer and it does not appear that the Merseyside club will offer the 30-year-old another deal.
Johnson began his career with the Hammers before moving to Chelsea back in 2003, becoming the first signing under Roman Abramovich.
The Mirror claims that West Ham are looking to re-sign Johnson, with current right-back Carl Jenkinson likely to return to Arsenal.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger confirmed his intentions to keep Jenkinson next season, having loaned him out to the East End club this campaign.
