Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard reportedly played a role in clearing the air between striker Luis Suarez and manager Brendan Rodgers.
The Uruguay international has begun training with his teammates after being shunned by the former Swansea City boss, who claimed that Suarez would have to apologise for publicly orchestrating a move away from Anfield before being part of the squad again.
Gerrard helped bring Suarez back into the fold by attending a meeting with the prolific striker and Rodgers, according to The Mirror.
Reports have claimed that due to Suarez's return to the squad, the forward is expected to remain with the Merseyside outfit for the season, despite interest from Arsenal.
