Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is understood to want answers over his future at the club by the end of the week.
The 23-year-old has been linked with moves to Aston Villa, Fulham and Newcastle United amid rumours that the England international will not be part of new manager Brendan Rodgers's plans for the upcoming season.
The forward is now hoping to resolve any problems by the weekend, according to The Mirror.
Newcastle were thought to have had a bid for Carroll rejected last weekend as they look to bring the forward back to the Sports Direct Arena.
