Bayer Leverkusen want Mamadou Sakho?

Bayer Leverkusen are lining up a £7m bid for Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, according to a report.

Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly keen to sign Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.

The 25-year-old, who has not featured for the Reds so far this season, has been linked with a move away from Anfield.

Roma were one of the clubs rumoured to be looking at the Frenchman, although it was reported over the weekend that they had failed with a loan bid for him.

According to L'Equipe, Leverkusen are preparing a move for Sakho and will pay £7m for him.

Sakho has made 34 Premier League appearances since joining Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013.
