Barcelona could move for Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly ready to explore the possibility of signing Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino during this summer's transfer window.

The 30-year-old has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Anfield, and it has been claimed that the Brazil international could decide against penning an extension.

According to El Nacional, Liverpool have agreed to sell Firmino if the right offer arrives this summer, and Barcelona are showing an interest in the forward.

The report claims that the Reds value the South American in the region of £16.7m, which appeals to the Catalan giants, as they attempt to bring in low-cost signings due to their financial issues.

Firmino has scored 94 goals and registered 73 assists in 310 appearances for Liverpool since making the move to the Merseyside club from Hoffenheim in July 2015.

This term, the versatile forward has netted seven times and contributed four assists in 18 appearances, including an assist in Sunday's 3-0 win over Brentford in the Premier League.
