Liverpool will be aiming to equal a club record winning run when they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Liverpool will attempt to equal their longest winning Premier League away run against a single opponent when they face Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Reds have reignited their top-four hopes in recent weeks thanks to 2-0 victories over both Everton and Newcastle United.

Liverpool, who reside in eighth position in the Premier League table, are seven points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who have played two games more.

Despite winning their last two league matches, Jurgen Klopp's side will still be reeling from Tuesday's demoralising 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

The Reds took a two-goal lead thanks to early strikes from Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah, but Real Madrid eventually ran out comfortable winners.

The Merseyside club will now have to pick themselves up for Saturday's contest as they attempt to equal their longest winning away run against a single opponent in the Premier League.

Impressively, the Reds have won their last seven top-flight away games against Palace - they only have a better record against Norwich City.

Between 1995 and 2021, Liverpool won all eight of their Premier League matches at Carrow Road, but they will now be aiming to equal that run against the Eagles.

Liverpool have racked up 22 goals in their last seven trips to Selhurst Park, which includes a memorable 7-0 victory in December 2020, where Roberto Firmino and Salah both registered braces.

In their most recent away meeting with Palace in January 2022, the Reds eased to a 3-0 win thanks to goals from Virgil van Dijk, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho.

However, they had to settle for a point when they welcomed Patrick Vieira's side to Anfield earlier this season, as the two teams played out a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool will be facing a Palace side who are still searching for their first win of 2023 after picking up four points from their seven league games this calendar year.

Klopp has revealed that he will rotate his squad for Saturday's encounter at Selhurst Park.
