Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been handed a concern over Joe Gomez for Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The centre-back appeared to suffer a hamstring issue late on in Tuesday's 5-2 Champions League loss to Real Madrid, although he may have been considered for the chop anyway following a disastrous performance.

Ibrahima Konate, Arthur, Luis Diaz, Thiago Alcantara and Calvin Ramsay make up the rest of the Reds' absentees, and while the former has now had a couple of training sessions with the team, he is unlikely to be risked just yet.

As a result, Joel Matip will likely come in to an otherwise unaltered backline of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson in front of Alisson Becker, whose howler handed Vinicius Junior his second goal in midweek.

Stefan Bajcetic's inexperience came to the fore against Real Madrid, and with a tough period of fixtures to come, Klopp may consider giving the 18-year-old a well-earned break as Naby Keita returns to join Fabinho and Jordan Henderson in the middle.

Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah should continue in the final third after netting against Los Blancos, but Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota are both fit and ready to stake their claims for regular inclusion, and the latter's fresh legs may now be preferred to Cody Gakpo.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Keita; Salah, Nunez, Jota
