Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has promised to help teammate Luis Suarez pick up the Golden Boot over Manchester United frontman Robin van Persie.
The goalscoring honour, which is handed out by the Barclays Premier League, appears to be between the two forwards, with Suarez on 18 and Van Persie just ahead by one goal.
"I don't see why not," Sturridge told the club's official website. "There are 11 games left for us so I'm sure he can. I'll try and help him get there and give him opportunities.
"It's always good to get individual glories as a player because they're the things you can look back on at the end of your career and tell your grandchildren you were top scorer for that season. I'm sure he'll be gunning for that and I'll try to help him get there."
The Uruguay international racked up his overall goal tally to 23 following yesterday's 5-0 win over Swansea City.
