Brendan Rodgers not worried about UEFA's Financial Fair Play investigation

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says that the club do not have any concerns about UEFA's investigation into the possible breach of Financial Fair Play rules.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that the club feel "comfortable" with UEFA's investigation into possible Financial Fair Play breaches.

The Merseyside outfit, along with six other clubs including Monaco, Inter Milan and Roma, are having their accounts looked into following their return to the Champions League.

Under UEFA rules, clubs competing in European competition can record a maximum loss of £35.4m over two seasons.

When asked about the investigation in this afternoon's press conference, Rodgers said: "It's obviously something that will be dealt with by the directors. It's something we're comfortable with because we're great advocates of Financial Fair Play. It's ongoing with the club."

Liverpool returned to the elite tournament following a five-year absence after finishing second in the Premier League last season.
