Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has revealed that Jurgen Klopp's arrival at Anfield has given him a new lease of life.
Klopp was brought in to replace the sacked Brendan Rodgers at the start of October and Lucas has been keen to state that the German coach has taught him a lot already during his short time in charge.
"I believe the arrival of Klopp gave me new energy, new fuel. He showed that he has confidence in me," Lucas told Globoesporte.
"I have learned a lot with him. He's very demanding, but he has clear ideas about football.
"I've done well with him this first month. He's a very direct guy, but is very open also. We feel close, knowing that he's the boss. We have to follow his lead."
Liverpool currently occupy 10th spot in the Premier League standings after 12 games played this season.
