Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has claimed that the Reds have a "great chance" of winning the Premier League this season.
Just two points separated Brendan Rodgers's side and champions Manchester City in the final standings last term as the title race went down to the final fixture.
Lovren envisages similar fireworks in the 2014-15 campaign, and believes that his new club can improve on their runners-up finish last season.
"I can't say that we can win it but we have a really good chance. Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, also Manchester City. They are the ones," he told The Guardian.
"It will be tight, like last season, but we will be here fighting. I think it will be even better than the last year."
The 25-year-old could make his competitive Liverpool debut in Sunday's visit of Southampton, whom he left in July.
