Liverpool assistant manager Colin Pascoe has been sacked by the club's owners following their disappointing season.
Manager Brendan Rodgers was summoned to a meeting by chairman Tom Werner and Mike Gordon of the Fenway Sports Group to discuss his future at the club after his side's below-par performance in the 2014-15 campaign.
The 42-year-old managed to avoid the sack, but Pascoe has been relieved of his duties as his number two, while first-team coach Mike Marsh will not have his contract renewed by the Reds.
Pascoe first worked with Rodgers during his spell as manager of Swansea City, and was brought to Anfield by the Northern Irishman when he was appointed as Liverpool manager in 2012.
