Liverpool's Danny Ings to take "positives" from Norwich City stalemate

Danny Ings insists that there are plenty of "positives" that Liverpool can take from their 1-1 draw against Norwich City at Anfield.

Liverpool striker Danny Ings has claimed that he and his teammates can take "positives" from their match against Norwich City, despite dropping points at Anfield.

Ings scored his first Premier League goal for the Reds in the second half on Sunday, but Russell Martin cancelled it out when he struck 13 minutes later to earn a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool have failed to win any of their last four league games, and have only found the back of the net four times in the top flight so far this season.

"We came off the pitch extremely disappointed we didn't get all three points," Ings told the club's official website. "From the amount of chances we created, I think everyone in the stadium was thinking the same thing.

"But there were a lot of positives, especially in the second half. The game started a little bit flat, but we turned that around, created a lot of chances and there are positives to take from the game. A little bit of concentration was lost at the corner, but we'll sit down and talk about that and get it right."

After six games, Liverpool are 13th in the table.
