Southampton's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg says that Liverpool's forward players work "like a symphony" when linking up in attacking positions.

Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has claimed that the fluid movement of Liverpool's forward players makes them the toughest team he has ever faced.

The 21-year-old played 80 minutes of the goalless draw against the Reds on Saturday afternoon, as the Saints became just the third team to stop their opponents from scoring in the Premier League this season.

Despite failing to register and being far from their free-flowing best, Hojbjerg was more than impressed with the way the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane linked up in attack for Liverpool.

"I played in Germany against Bayern Munich and Dortmund, I played against Manchester City in the Champions League, but I must say this is maybe the best team I have ever played against," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.

"It's not only that they move the ball quickly. They also have fast players, and with the ball they are very good one against one. It's unbelievable how they move, how they stand, how they work together - it's like a symphony."

Liverpool remain the division's top-scoring side after finding the net 30 times in their first 11 games.
