Bruce Grobbelaar expects Liverpool trophy

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar believes that the current team is good enough to win at least one trophy this season.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar has predicted that the current team will win at least one trophy this season.

The Reds have enjoyed a good start to their Premier League campaign, climbing up to second place in the table with seven wins from 11 games.

Grobbelaar is confident that Liverpool can continue their strong form and qualify for next season's Champions League.

"I think we have a great squad with quality players that can take the club to greater heights. I believe we have what it takes to at least win one of the trophies," he told Goal.com.

"Anything is possible if we keep our focus and continue to show the work ethic we are showing now. I believe we have what it takes to compete in the Champions League."

Liverpool return to Premier League action on Saturday when they make the short trip to local rivals Everton.
