Steven Gerrard to captain Liverpool for 400th time as captain

Steven Gerrard will captain Liverpool for the 400th time this evening against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Steven Gerrard will lead Liverpool for the 400th time in tonight's Premier League clash against Swansea City.

The England international is poised to reach the milestone as captain at the Liberty Stadium after making his debut with the armband in November 2002.

During his bow as skipper, the Merseyside outfit clinched a victory over Southampton at Anfield in the League Cup.

The Reds are currently third in the Premier League table following their 100% start to the season with three wins out of three.
