Liverpool's Jose Enrique facing 10 weeks on sidelines after knee surgery

Liverpool confirm that Jose Enrique will be sidelined for 10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his knee.

Liverpool have confirmed that full-back Jose Enrique will be on the sidelines for 10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his knee.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers revealed last week that the Spaniard would be absent for some time due to a problem with his right knee.

The Merseyside outfit confirmed on their official website that the arthroscopic surgery was a success, resulting in a 10-week absence from training for the player.

Enrique has not played since Liverpool's 4-0 win over Fulham on November 9.
