Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure admits that playing for Liverpool would be a "dream".

Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has admitted that playing for Liverpool would be a "dream".

The 25-year-old has been linked to numerous big-name clubs in the Premier League throughout the season due to his performances at Vicarage Road.

The Frenchman was unable to prevent a 5-0 defeat at Anfield when the two clubs met recently, but he has been left impressed by Jurgen Klopp's team.

"Liverpool is a club that need no introduction," The Express quotes Doucoure as saying. "I was impatient to play there, at Anfield. I wanted to feel the atmosphere. For me it would be a dream to play in a club like this."

The midfielder joined Watford from Rennes in 2016.
