Kenny Dalglish has praised the professionalism of his Liverpool players during this afternoon's Merseyside derby victory over Everton this afternoon.
Hosts Everton were reduced to ten men during the first half when Jack Rodwell was handed his marching orders.
Liverpool were able to capitalise on their numerical advantage with goals from Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez, leaving Dalglish "delighted".
"We're delighted," Dalglish told Sky Sports News. "We were very professional.
"When you're playing against ten men it's easy to lose concentration or get complacent, but we didn't do either of those two things."
The three points has moved Liverpool up to fourth in the Premier League table.
