New West Brom boss Steve Clarke insists that he holds no grudges towards Liverpool despite being sacked by the Reds this summer.

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke has insisted that he has no quarrels with Liverpool despite being sacked by them this summer.

Clarke was removed from his position as assistant boss when Kenny Dalglish was fired by the Reds at the end of last season.

The former Chelsea defender lines up against Liverpool in his first game in charge of the Baggies tomorrow but says that he holds no grudges against the Anfield club.

He said: "I've got no grievance whatsoever with Liverpool. I had a fantastic time there and obviously after Saturday I'll wish them well for the season."
