Charlie Adam hails Liverpool's strike partnership

Charlie Adam thinks that Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll are "working well" up front for Liverpool.

Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam believes that Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll are becoming a force up front for the Reds.

The duo haven't played together consistently, but linked up during the side's 2-0 win against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, in which the former Newcastle United striker scored the winner from Suarez's pass.

Adam, who also claimed a goal through a penalty at the Hawthorns, believes that the pair are "working well" for the Merseyside club.

"It's easy to see the two of them are top players and they are working well," Adam told the club's official website.

"Luis got the penalty and laid on a great ball for Andy's goal. Their movement is terrific and they caused a lot of problems for West Brom's defence.

"The two of them should be happy with the performance they put in."

The Reds prepare to take on Swansea City at Anfield this weekend.
