Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Diogo Jota will be available for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United at Anfield.
There were fears that the Portugal international would be absent against the Magpies, having not been present during the club's main training session on Thursday.
However, speaking to reporters during his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, Klopp insisted that the attacker is "fine" and will be able to feature against Steve Bruce's side.
Jota has enjoyed an impressive first season at Anfield after arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers last September, scoring 12 times in 26 appearances in all competitions.
The 24-year-old has missed a lot of football this term due to a knee problem but has now featured in Liverpool's last six Premier League matches, scoring three times.
The reigning champions are currently seventh in the Premier League table, two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea ahead of the clash with Newcastle.
