Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson out of Leicester City clash due to foot injury

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is reportedly ruled out of tonight's Premier League clash against Leicester City after injuring his foot in training.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson will reportedly miss tonight's Premier League match against Leicester City due to a foot injury.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the midfielder suffered the problem during a training session on Friday.

The Reds were concerned that Henderson may have broken his metatarsal, but scans have reportedly shown that the damage is just a bruise.

It means that the 26-year-old will not be available for tonight's clash and he is also a doubt for Saturday's encounter against Arsenal at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp's men, who have not played for the past fortnight, have an opportunity to move back into the top four if they defeat managerless Leicester.
