Tuesday's Champions League predictions including Real Madrid vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first legs - Man City vs. Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid vs. Liverpool.

Manchester City's pursuit of an unprecedented quadruple continues on Tuesday when they welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Etihad Stadium for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Pep Guardiola's side easily overcame Borussia Monchengladbach to advance to the last eight, while Dortmund made hard work of their battle with Sevilla, but they eventually got over the line to set up a tie with City.

We say: Manchester City 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

With only one win to boast from their last five matches, compared to City's perfect record in that period, Dortmund are not exactly high on confidence. Haaland is always capable of popping up with a crucial goal for the Black and Yellow, but a fully-fit and in-form City can sweep aside almost anything in their path, so we can only back a first-leg triumph for Guardiola's men.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Real Madrid vs. Liverpool (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Two of the most successful teams in the history of the European Cup will lock horns in the Spanish capital on Tuesday night as Real Madrid welcome Liverpool for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Madrid, who are 13-time winners of the competition, will be looking to secure an advantage at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium ahead of the reverse fixture at Anfield on April 14.

We say: Real Madrid 1-1 Liverpool

Liverpool's form has improved, and the Reds appear to be heading in the right direction once again. Madrid have also been finding their groove, though, and we are not comfortable backing the home side to lose. It should be a very interesting game in the Spanish capital, and we have ultimately settled on a 1-1 draw, which would leave the tie delicately poised ahead of the return fixture at Anfield on April 14.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
