Leyton Orient have completed the signing of former Millwall defender Shane Lowry on a two-year contract.
The 25-year-old was a free agent after being released by the Lions at the end of last season.
Lowry has said that Orient's promotion ambitions persuaded him to join the League One side.
"I'm really excited to be here," he told the club's official website.
"There's a buzz about the place. You can tell straightaway that everyone here is really ambitious and I want to be a part of it and help the club push to go up this year."
Lowry made 22 appearances for Millwall in the Championship last season.
