Levante win their fourth successive game in all competitions with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Granada at home.

Levante have defeated Granada 3-1 at home in La Liga to maintain their impressive start to the season.

Juan Ignacio Martinez's side went ahead in the 12th minute when Obafemi Martins fired home from outside the box with his left foot after taking advantage of poor defending from Inigo Lopez.

The Nigerian striker almost made it 2-0 in the 25th minute, but his shot from close range went wide.

Three minutes into the second half Pape Diop came close for Levante with a long-range effort that drew out a save from Tono.

Martins tried again to double his side's advantage on 57 minutes when he powerfully headed Nabil El Zhar's cross towards the Granada goal, but it was saved by Tono.

Three minutes later the former Inter Milan and Newcastle United striker put Levante 2-0 up with a left-footed shot from a narrow angle after turning Lopez and Borja Gomez with ease.

Pedro Ríos made it 3-0 to Levante in the 73rd minute when he latched on to Michel's through ball and finished it with comfort.

Granada pulled one back through Youssef El-Arabi with six minutes remaining in the match, but it proved to be too little, too late for the visitors.
