Report: Leicester City join chase for free agent Bakary Sako

Leicester City reportedly offer free agent Bakary Sako £50,000 a week to join the club this summer in the hope of beating several Premier League clubs to his signature.

Leicester City are the latest Premier League club to be linked with free agent Bakary Sako, who recently came to the end of his contract at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 27-year-old is believed to have attracted interest from a number of top-flight sides, including Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa.

According to the Leicester Mercury, the Foxes, who survived relegation back to the Championship, have offered Sako £50,000 a week to move to the King Power Stadium this summer.

The player himself has claimed that he will not make a decision regarding his future until his return from international duty with Mali.
