A report claims that Leicester City boss Claude Puel is already two games away from the sack, with one of Thierry Henry and Roberto Martinez in the frame to replace him.

Leicester City have reportedly already lined up a couple of replacements to take over from Claude Puel, despite the Premier League season being just one game old.

The Foxes, who finished ninth in the top flight last time out, lost 2-1 to Manchester United in their opener on Friday evening.

According to The Mirror, Puel has already been informed that he has two games to save his job, with City prepared to make a change during next month's international break.

Leicester chiefs are said to be concerned by the team's finish to 2017-18 when losing five of their last seven matches, but they have given Puel a couple more weeks to turn things around, with games against Southampton and Liverpool to come.

The report suggests that Belgium manager Roberto Martinez and former assistant Thierry Henry, who stepped down after the Red Devils finished third at the World Cup, are in the frame to replace Puel at the King Power Stadium.

Henry is waiting for an enticing job offer after also quitting his role as a pundit for Sky Sports, while Martinez is still under contract with the Belgian FA for another couple of years.
