Leicester City manager Steve Cooper is expected to recall several of his first-team stars for Saturday's Premier League clash with Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
The Foxes boss made nine changes to the side that suffered a 5-2 defeat away against Manchester United in the last 16 of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night, with defensive duo James Justin and Caleb Okoli the only survivors from the team that lost 3-1 against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League a week last Friday.
Both Justin and Okoli are set to retain their starting spots again, although the former could move over to left-back, with Ricardo Pereira recalled at right-back and Wout Faes also returning in central defence.
Harry Winks and Wilfred Ndidi are the most likely pair to link arms in centre-midfield, with Brighton loanee Facundo Buonanotte, who has contributed to five goals (three goals, two assists) in eight league games this term, operating in the number 10 role.
Buonanotte will likely take the place of Bilal El Khannouss, who scored against Man United, although either the Moroccan or Bobby De Cordova-Reid could be deployed on the right flank as Abdul Fatawu is doubtful with a groin injury that forced him to miss the defeat at Old Trafford.
Stephy Mavididi, who scored against Ipswich in a 1-1 Championship draw at Portman Road last season, is set to be recalled on the left wing, while 37-year-old Jamie Vardy is poised to lead the line ahead of Jordan Ayew and Odsonne Edouard.
Leicester's only confirmed absentee is backup goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk (ankle), as Hamza Choudhury (shoulder), Victor Kristiansen (groin) and Patson Daka (ankle) have all returned to training this week and will continue to be assessed.
Leicester City possible starting lineup: Hermansen; Pereira, Okoli, Faes, Justin; Ndidi, Winks; De Cordova-Reid, Buonanotte, Mavididi; Vardy
