Claudio Ranieri: 'I will retire at Leicester City'

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri denies reports that he could be enticed from the King Power Stadium at the end of the current campaign.

Claudio Ranieri has denied suggestions that he could be enticed away from Leicester City at the end of the season.

The Italian took control at the King Power at the start of the campaign and has led the Foxes to the top of the Premier League table.

It had been claimed that the 64-year-old's work could lead to another high-profile club position, while the Italy job will also become available after Euro 2016 when Antonio Conte stands down.

Ranieri, however, has said that Leicester 'will be his last club' and he is open to signing a new long-term deal.

"I am good at Leicester and do not think about moving. I think that this will be my last club. I hope that they make me a long contract, of six or seven years, and that I retire here," Ranieri told Marca.

"I've always had a lot of opportunities. I'm a lucky man to work in what I love most - for almost 30 years I have enjoyed my greatest passion."

Leicester are currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League with just eight games left.
