Nigel Pearson: 'Leicester City don't show fear'

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson insists that his side do not feel fear ahead of their matches in the Premier League.

Nigel Pearson has said that his Leicester City side do not get a "feeling of fear" going into matches in the Premier League, despite the club sitting bottom in the table.

The Foxes have won just four matches since winning promotion back to the top flight, leaving them five points from safety.

The manager told the club's website: "I don't think there has been fear throughout the season in many senses. I don't really think there has been, at any point, a feeling of fear going into games, or even giving sides that you play too much respect.

"For the most part this year, I can honestly say that the players have given everything that they've got. I do think that we could very easily be sitting here with more points than we have, which would probably change other people's perceptions.

"It's only ourselves that can change our fortunes. What other people think about us is not irrelevant, but it's secondary, because our own feelings on how we go about the job, and how we go into games, is really the important thing."

Leicester face Everton in the Premier League tomorrow.
