Leicester City striker Steve Howard has criticised the management of former boss Sven-Goran Eriksson, saying the Swede didn't know how to play Championship football.
The former England coach was sacked by the club last month because of a run of poor results after just one year at the Walkers Stadium.
Veteran forward Howard has now said that the 63-year-old Swede couldn't adapt to Championship football.
"In certain games you need to play Championship football, and I don't think we ever did that under the previous manager," the 35-year-old said.
"Sometimes you have to fight your way out of games, but we didn't do that.
"After Sven had gone, we did that in the second half at West Ham and on Tuesday night when we beat Burnley.
The Foxes, who are currently ninth in the league, have yet to find a replacement and are being managed by caretakers Mike Stowell and Jon Rudkin.
