Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has suffered a fresh injury setback, according to Brendan Rodgers.
The former England international had only just returned from a hamstring issue at the start of the month, marking it with a goal during the 2-0 victory against Burnley.
Vardy then played an impact in the Foxes win at the weekend over Leeds United, but he had to be substituted during that match due to a problem with his knee.
"Vards got injured in the last game and will be out for a few weeks which is a shame," Rodgers told the press.
The 35-year-old has featured 18 times in the Premier League this season, scoring 10 goals, while he also added two to his tally for the season in the EFL Cup.
Leicester City will play Rennes tonight in the Europa Conference League.
