Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana has put pen to paper on a new contract extension.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year extension with the Premier League club, keeping him at the King Power Stadium until 2027, securing his long-term future.
Fofana originally joined the Foxes in October 2020, with a fee that has the potential of rising to £36.5m from St Etienne, and since that point, he has managed with the FA Cup.
However, the Frenchman has not featured this season due to injury, as he suffered a fractured fibula and damaged ankle ligaments during pre-season, which he is still recovering from.
Fofana is expected to be available for Brendan Rodgers again in the near future, which would provide a boost to the defensive options that the Foxes have.
Leicester City will be back in action on Thursday night in the Europa Conference League against Rennes.
