Leeds United have announced that defender Tom Pearce has signed a new long-term contract.
In March, Pearce was given his first-team debut for the Yorkshire giants and went on to play five times in the Championship before the end of the season.
However, the full-back's deal had been due to expire at the end of June, with clubs taking an interest in the 20-year-old who has spent much of the last four years in the Leeds youth setup.
Pearce has opted to remain with his current club, however, with the prospect committing his future to Leeds until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
Last month, Pearce was handed his first call-up to the England Under-21 squad for the Toulon Tournament.
