Leeds United have announced that the club have agreed a deal to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan until the end of the season.
The England Under-21 international has been linked with the Championship outfit for a number of weeks after admitting that he was willing to leave the Potters in search of first-team football.
Manager Brian McDermott told the club's official website: "We're delighted to agree a deal to secure the services of Jack until the end of the season.
"Obviously he has high ambitions. He has already been involved in the England squad and I know he is very much looking forward to coming in and being part of the group we have here."
Butland, who joined Stoke from Birmingham City last year, has struggled to beat Asmir Begovic to the number one spot in the Potters squad.
