Half-Time Report: Queens Park Rangers, Leeds United goalless at the break

Queens Park Rangers and Leeds United go into half time in the Championship clash at Loftus Road level at 0-0.

Neil Warnock's Queens Park Rangers have been the better side in the opening 45 minutes at Loftus Road, but have failed to find a way past Leeds United.

On-loan midfielder Liam Bridcutt found himself in the referee's book just seven minutes into his Leeds United debut for upending Junior Hoilett 25 yards from goal.

Alejandro Faurlin took charge of the resulting free kick, but could only curl his effort narrowly over the top of goal.

Stuart Dallas and Matt Phillips traded long-range strikes as both sides searched for a foothold in the game, before the visitors should have taken the lead through Chris Wood on the half-hour mark.

The striker beat Robert Green to a falling ball, but from a tight angle he could only lash his effort over the top of goal.

The best chance of the first half, though, fell to Grant Hall, who planted his header from Faurlin's corner just inches over shortly before the break.

That just left time for Nedum Onuoha to hammer an effort narrowly over from 30 yards, but it remained goalless at the break.
