Leeds United and Bristol City head in at half time with the scores level at 0-0.
The first chance of the half came from a Neil Kilkenny free kick which found Liam Fontaine, who troubled Paddy Kenny but could not capitalise on the goalkeeper's spill.
Ross Barkley then came close for Leeds, but couldn't make strong enough contact to direct the ball towards goal.
Ross McCormack had an effort from distance towards the end of the half, but the shot was comfortably gathered by Tom Heaton.
