Half-Time Report: Brighton & Hove Albion lead 10-man Leeds United at the break

Will Buckley gives Brighton & Hove Albion the lead in their Championship clash with Leeds United at Elland Road.

Will Buckley has given Brighton & Hove Albion a 1-0 lead over 10-man Leeds United in their Championship clash, while the hosts have had Roldoph Austin sent off.

Brighton took the lead as they capitalised on an error from defender Tom Lees as he scuffed his backpass to Paddy Kenny allowing Will Buckley to nip in and fire the ball into the net.

Matters got worse for Leeds when Austin was sent off for pushing Ashley Barnes in the face, reducing Brian McDermott's side to 10 men after just 13 minutes.

The home side had late efforts to try to get an equaliser but both El-Hadji Diouf and Ross McCormack couldn't hit the target with shots from outside the penalty area.
