Two sides at opposite ends of the form table meet in Ligue 1's early kickoff on Sunday, as Le Havre welcome Lyon to Stade Oceane.
After facing questions about his future in charge of Lyon, Pierre Sage has responded brilliantly, while Didier Digard is not having the start he desired at Le Havre.
We say: Le Havre 0-2 Lyon
There has never been a draw between the sides in the top flight here in Normandy, and that run is likely to extend to 17 games with Lyon the slight favourites to come out on top.
Four wins in a row compared to four defeats in a row does not make for good reading for the hosts, as a confident Lyon side are not the ideal opponents to face when stuck in a rut.

Auxerre vs. Reims (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Two sides at opposing ends of the Ligue 1 table come together on Sunday when 14th-placed Auxerre host fourth-placed Reims at Stade de l'Abbe Deschamps.
The hosts have won just one of their last six games heading into this one, while the visitors are undefeated in their last six outings.
We say: Auxerre 1-3 Reims
Auxerre have been extremely vulnerable in defence throughout this season, conceding 15 times in seven Ligue 1 fixtures, while Reims have been prolific in front of goal, netting 14 times, leading us to believe the visitors will win here.

Toulouse vs. Angers (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Two teams in grave danger of being part of the relegation picture in Ligue 1 meet at the Stadium Municipal on Sunday, as Toulouse host bottom-of-the-table Angers.
After being European competitors last season, a dreadful start means Toulouse currently occupy the relegation playoff place, but there is very little to separate the entire bottom half in the French top flight.
We say: Toulouse 3-1 Angers
This is the perfect opportunity for Toulouse to get their season up and running against opponents who they have an excellent recent record against, with just one defeat in 10.
Angers have been finding the net of late, but they are yet to keep a clean sheet or claim a victory this season, and despite holding Marseille last time out, they are rightly the underdogs here.

Nantes vs. Nice (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Tied on nine points each, Nantes are set to host Nice at Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday afternoon for matchday eight of the 2024-25 Ligue 1 season.
The hosts are without a win in their last four matches heading into this encounter, while the visitors are unbeaten in their last three Ligue 1 fixtures.
We say: Nantes 1-2 Nice
While both are enduring periods of difficulty heading into this match, Nice boast more quality across their squad, leading us to believe they will win this one.

Montpellier vs. Marseille (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Gameweek eight of Ligue 1 comes to a close at the Stade de la Mosson on Sunday night, when Montpellier HSC host Marseille.
The hosts are in a precarious position near the bottom at this early stage, while the wheels have fallen off slightly for Marseille following a superb start.
We say: Montpellier HSC 1-4 Marseille
Marseille have conceded in all of their last 25 away Ligue 1 games - the worst run of any team in Europe's top-five leagues - and a manager like De Zerbi will not be focusing on correcting that.
However, with the talent they have in attack, the visitors should have enough to outscore a Montpellier side that has the worst defensive record in the division, and in doing so, return to winning ways.
