Lazio have beaten Genoa 2-0 thanks to goals from Filip Djordjevic and Felipe Anderson, with Issa Cissokho and Goran Pandev sent off for the visitors.

Tomas Rincon struck the post early on for Genoa, while Nicolas Burdisso came close with a header shortly after.

Rincon threatened once again with 20 minutes gone, but it was Lazio who took the lead 10 minutes before the break when Djordjevic planted a header into the back of Eugenio Lamanna's net.

Panagiotis Tachtsidis had a chance to level for Genoa in first-half stoppage time, but Federico Marchetti was on hand to save.

Into the second half, and there was little action until Issa Cissokjo saw red in the 56th minute with a second yellow card after tripping Anderson.

Brazil international Anderson then put Lazio 2-0 ahead five minutes later with a shot from outside the box curling into the top right-hand corner.

Genoa's Pandev was then given a straight red card for elbowing Santiago Gentiletti, giving Lazio a comfortable final five minutes and victory.
