Defending MLS champions Los Angeles Galaxy have progressed to the final of this season's playoffs with a 4-2 aggregate win over Seattle Sounders.
The Californians travelled to CenturyLink Field with a comfortable 3-0 lead following last week's first leg at The Home Depot Center.
However, they found themselves in a spot of bother on 57 minutes when Zach Scott added to Eddie Johnson's 12th-minute strike to bring Seattle to within just one goal of parity.
Galaxy regained their control over the tie 11 minutes later, though, thanks to a controversial penalty kick.
Adam Johansson was harshly penalised for handball and Robbie Keane made no mistake from 12 yards.
Seattle ended the game with 10 men, after Osvaldo Alonso was shown a second yellow card in stoppage time.
Galaxy will now face Houston Dynamo, who overcame DC United 4-2 on aggregate in the Eastern Conference final.
