Juventus sign Rubinho

Juventus sign Brazilian goalkeeper Rubinho on a one-year contract on a free transfer.

Juventus have signed Brazilian goalkeeper Rubinho on a one-year contract on a free transfer.

The 30-year-old arrives at the Italian champions as the Turin giants' third-choice goalkeeper behind Gianluigi Buffon and Marco Storari.

"Juventus have today completed the signing of Rubens Fernando Moedim," reads a statement on Juventus's official website.

"The 30-year-old goalkeeper, commonly known as Rubinho, has agreed terms on a contract which expires on June 30, 2013.

"He joins on a free transfer following a three-year spell with Palermo."

Rubinho was without a club since mid-December after he rescinded his contract with Palermo.
