Juventus in for Danish youngster

Juventus are keen on young Danish defender Jacob Barrett Laursen, according to reports in the player's homeland.

Juventus are interested in signing Danish youngster Jacob Barrett Laursen, according to his current club Aalborg.

The 17-year-old, who has recently been on trial at the Bianconeri, has been tipped for a big future after starring for Denmark in the Under-17s World Cup in June.

Aalborg revealed that the Turin club are interested in Laursen, but insisted that nothing has yet been agreed.

"I know that they are interested, but nothing is final," sporting director Lynge Jakobsen told Bold.dk. "I can't confirm that they have signed him.

"I didn't say they haven't made a bid, but it has been reported that they have signed him and I don't think they have."

The defender turns 18 in November.
