Juventus 1-1 Chievo

Juventus lose ground on Serie A leaders AC Milan with a 1-1 draw at home to Chievo.

Juventus have lost ground on Serie A leaders AC Milan after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Chievo.

The home side took an 18th minute lead when Paolo De Ceglie pounced in the area following Andrea Pirlo's free kick.

The Old Lady could have doubled their lead before the break, but Simone Padoin's drive was tipped around the post.

Chievo often matched their opponents in the second half as Davide Moscardelli threatened with a couple of efforts.

As Juventus sat back, the visitors grabbed a deserved equaliser with 15 minutes to play as Boukary Drame's shot was deflected in past Gianluigi Buffon.
